Sophie and Jack's wedding

27/9/2025

Sophie and Jack were married on 5 September 2025 in a church ceremony with their reception to follow at Braxted Park. They chose a classic palette of whites and greens, with roses, calla lilies and stocks amongst their flowers.

Sophie's bouquet was a beautiful, rounded hand-tied of roses, calla lilies, gyp and eucalyptus - simple yet elegant. White satin ribbon finished off the stems perfectly.

Sophie also had a bridesman and for him we designed a special buttonhole with the same flowers as the bouquet.

Jack's buttonhole featured a standard and a spray rose, with gyp and eucalyptus.

The other men wore smaller versions without the bigger rose.

The couple got married at All Saints Church in Great Braxted. To frame the entryway we placed two plinths with a beautiful floral arrangement on top, featuring a gorgeous mix of white flowers and trailing foliages. Inside we placed arrangements on the font and at the front of the church, and tied posies to the ends of the pews.

The venue looked absolutely stunning all set up. We stayed on site during the ceremony to move the flowers over to the park, as with so many beautiful ceremony flowers it would have been a shame to leave them behind! The pedestals and meadow arrangements framed the top table perfectly, with the addition of a long and low arrangement and vases for the bouquets.

The guest tables were a mix of tall arrangements on our high riser stands, which we painted black, and low arrangements featuring candles and a wreath of flowers.

We also designed an arrangement of gyp and roses to frame the mirrored table plan supplied by Sophie's Boutique Bows which looked amazing as guests walked into the venue.

We also hired some vases for the other bouquets and the pew ends to provide additional decor around the venue.

Laura & Oliver's wedding

Laura and Oliver were married on 30 August 2025 at Houchins. They chose a beautiful colour palette of dusky pink, blush pink, white/ivory and soft peach/champagne with minimal foliage, with roses, stocks and dahlias amongst their flowers.
Laura's bouquet was the prettiest combination of flowers, with those 'cafe latte' roses and pink dahlias taking centre stage. The trailing white chiffon ribbons finished it off perfectly.

All boxed up and delivered to the venue.

Oliver's buttonhole was basically a mini bouquet, incorporating small, delicate flowers in all the colours of the wedding.

The other men wore smaller versions, finished with white chiffon ribbon.

For the mums I made wrist corsages on ivory snap bands, with white and peach flowers.

The ceremony gazebo at Houchins is such a versatile space, and here it looked beautiful dressed up with aisle meadows and some cut glass bud vases on the table.

The reception also looked stunning, with the mismatched bud vases moved to the top table and footed bowls for the guest tables. The meadows were also lined up along the front of the top table - it's so great when you can maximise your flowers across two spaces!

Ashlea and Joe's wedding

4/9/2025

Ashlea and Joe were married on 24 August 2025 at Houchins. They chose a pretty colour palette of white with a hint of blush pink for their flowers, which included roses, lisianthus and stocks.
Ashlea's bouquet was soft and pretty, textured but not wild, with simple ivory ribbon to finish. Ashlea had wanted peonies but with it being past their peak season we opted for these "peony rose" garden roses instead which are an almost perfect alternative!

Joe's buttonhole was a grouping of spray roses with some foliage, with smaller versions for the groomsmen and dads.

The ceremony looked so pretty once set up, with green chair sashes (unfortunately I don't know the name of the company who provided these) pew ends, lanterns and foliage down the aisle and a long and low on the table. The neutral tones of the gazebo at Houchins lends itself perfectly to be dressed up in any way you choose and these pops of green complimented the surrounding gardens so nicely.

For the reception the couple opted for long banquet tables with green runners. They then provided some bud vases which I added flowers to on the day. By providing their own it meant they could keep them afterwards or gift them to their guests.

The cake was an M&S special and I dressed it up with fresh flowers and foliages.
