Sophie and Mark were married on 13 June 2021 at Houchins. They chose a gorgeous, bright colour palette for their flowers, including roses, peonies, stocks, astilbe and lisianthus. Sophie's bouquet was bright and beautiful, with a gorgeous mix of flowers and finished with cerise pink ribbon. Happy bride! Thank you to Michelle at Bumblebee Bridal for the second photo. Sophie just had the one bridesmaid, who carried a smaller version of her bouquet. There was even a peony flower wand for the little flower girl! Mark wore a double spray rose buttonhole with foliage, which I also added a little bit of waxflower to. The other men wore pink spray roses, with a slightly smaller version for a younger page boy. All delivered to the venue! Sophie and Mark lucked out with their ceremony - the foliage curtain had been left up from a wedding the previous day (florist unknown) so they essentially got it for free! I obviously wouldn't gamble on this being an option on your own wedding day as it's rare things like this happen, but the soft ruscus foliage lasts a long time so the venue saw no need to take it down! Great for Sophie and Mark! They had a fabulous large long and low on the ceremony table and colourful chair ends to draw the eye down the aisle. The top table had the long and low from the ceremony table and some of the chair ends in little vases, with extra vases for the bride and bridesmaid bouquets to be placed into after the photographs. I will always recommend that you repurpose your ceremony flowers when you can, you've paid for them after all so no point leaving them behind! The centrepieces had a trio of vases, with the rest of the chair ends and a couple of extra bud vases. I love the pop of colour against the neutral white backdrop of the venue! The beautiful cake was made by Luca's Cakes, which we decorated with a showstopping peony and other flowers to compliment. The stunning pro photos are by Kristian Lissimore Photography - what a great couple of shots of the bouquet toss! I love that at Houchins the bride can throw her bouquet from the roof, and it's nice to see a gent catch it for a change!! I hope Sophie and Mark had a wonderful day! 💗🧡

Amy and Gavin were married on 3 June at Houchins. They chose beautiful blush and white for their flowers, including roses, astilbe, gypsophila and sweet peas. The soft tones were just lovely in Amy's bouquet, and the sweet peas added the most delicate fragrance. Amy had 6 bridesmaids - four adults and two juniors. I designed each bouquet to be in proportion with the age/size of the maid so the little one had a mini bouquet which was so cute! Amy chose to keep the bridesmaid flowers as all white, which you can see in the pro photos further down worked perfectly against their pink dresses. Boxed up and ready for delivery! I also provided some sprigs of gypsophila for the younger girls' hair. Gavin wore a pink spray rose and foliage buttonhole to compliment Amy's bouquet. His groomsmen wore white spray rose buttonhole to compliment the bridesmaid bouquet - in the grand scheme of a wedding a buttonhole is a minor detail but I think it is the thought and care that goes into the little details which make everything so much more personal to the couple. Name tags on and ready to be delivered! The ceremony area at Houchins was decorated with a 'long and low' floral arrangement on the table and chair end posies of gypsophila, tied with ribbon. The table centrepieces featured a log slice with two mason jars on top - a larger one of mixed flowers and a smaller one that was to have the chair ends moved into. A card with the table number to finish off and you have a beautiful table arrangement, at the perfect height for guests to admire but that isn't obstructive in any way. I also decorated the vintage ladder than Amy and Gavin were using as their table plan - bud vases of flowers at the top and sprigs of foliage all around. Simple yet beautiful. The delicious cake was made by Luca's Cakes which we decorated with fresh flowers and foliage. And finally a couple of thank you bouquets for the mums! I wasn't able to source my usual grey boxes due to a supply issue however I got these cow parsley printed ones instead, with matching cello, and I have to say I just love them! The stunning professional photos are by Kristian Lissimore Photography - just beautiful and the happiness radiating from everyone is lovely to see. I hope Amy and Gavin had a wonderful day!
Hannah and Mark were married on 30 May 2021 at Houchins. They went for a beautiful blush pink and white colour scheme, using peonies, roses, astilbe, gypsophila, lisianthus and Hannah's favourite - tanacetum daisies. Hannah's bouquet was so soft, pretty and fluffy, and the fragrance from the peonies was just dreamy! Hannah's seven maids carried smaller versions of her bouquet, with trailing ivory ribbons. All delivered to Houchins! Mark wore an all white buttonhole of spray roses, astilbe, gypsophila and eucalyptus. The other men wore slightly different buttonholes, with pink astilbe instead of the white and only a single spray rose. The two mums wore wrist corsages on snap bands - these are great as they are sturdier than ribbon but more adjustable than pearl bracelets. Hannah and Mark went for my foliage curtain to decorate their ceremony area - it frames the area at Houchins beautifully and makes for the perfect backdrop as the couple say their vows. I also provided fresh rose petal confetti for the guests to throw. The venue looked beautiful once all decorated - I placed bud vases along the full length of the top table, with tealight holders in between and eucalyptus foliage scattered throughout. The guest tables featured a log slice in the centre with more bud vases on top and foliage around the outside. It was such a pretty and elegant set up. The beautiful signs were by Kate Alice Lettering and I decorated them with garlands of foliage. I also decorated the large love letters with some sprigs of foliage, which I'm sure looked beautiful once they were all lit up! Finally I decorated the card and gift table with some loose foliage and a few roses. The stunning pro photos are by Farlie Photography - check them out below! I hope Hannah and Mark had an amazing day! 💗
Leanne and Tom were married on 29 May 2021 at Maidens Barn. In what is a first so far this year this was this lovely couple's original date! Adjustments had to be made to allow for current restrictions on numbers but Leanne and Tom just wanted to be married which is just wonderful. They went for classic all white for their flowers, including peonies, roses, astilbe, gypsophila and sweet peas, as well as three different types of eucalyptus. Leanne's bouquet had the loveliest scent, finished with simple satin ribbon wrapped around the stems. Leanne's two bridesmaids carried smaller versions of her bouquet. There was also a gypsophila wand for the little flower girl. Boxed up ready for delivery! Tom wore a double spray rose buttonhole, with eucalyptus and simple ivory ribbon. His groomsmen wore single spray rose buttonholes with eucalyptus and ribbon. For the ladies corsage I added a little bit of gypsophila. With their name labels ready for pinning! The ceremony room looked beautiful - to compliment the arrangements already at the venue I added a long and low and simple rose and foliage chair ends. After the ceremony the chair ends were to be moved over to the wedding breakfast and placed in rustic jam jars on the tables. The couples added in log slices, lanterns and little personal touches. A couple of thank you bouquets for the mums, with all white flowers to match. It looks like the couple and their family had a wonderful day - the gorgeous photos below are by Farlie Photography. Congratulations Leanne and Tom! 💚
