Heather and Andy's wedding

14/11/2017

Heather and Andy were married on 5 October 2017 at a church in Kelvedon and then held their reception at Layer Marney Tower. They went for a beautiful lilac and blue colour combination, with flowers such as roses, delphinium and hydrangea.

I made up mixed bunches of flowers for the pew ends, which were later moved over for additional decoration at the venue.
The tables were made up of vintage style birdcages and a large 'long and low' arrangement made up the top table.

Here are a few lovely photos of the bride and groom and bridesmaids shared with thanks from the bride:

Tig and Alex's wedding

Tig and Alex were married on 9 September 2017 at the stunning Vaulty Manor. I loved working on this wedding, with help from Alana from Petal & Wild again. With 16 tables to flower, 18 chair ends, cake table flowers, a huge ceremony/top table arrangement, chair backs, 18 buttonholes/corsages, 4 flower girl wands, 7 bouquets, 7 hair flower combs and 2 massive urns - it was one of my biggest weddings to date! I got to use my favourite "quicksand" rose again, along with white roses, spray roses, delphinium, tanacetum, astilbe, gypsophila, gomphrena, waxflower, scabious, amaranthus, eryngium, hydrangea, asparagus fern, rosemary and eucalyptus.
The bouquets and buttonholes all packaged up ready for delivery:
The ceremony area for this wedding was so much fun to design and make. The long and low for the ceremony table and later the top table was but enough, but that was nothing compared to the two massive urns standing on either side! Me and Alana made the urns on the floor and then got the cake lady's husband to lift them onto the plinths for us - the were pretty heavy by this point! The ever popular gypsophila pew ends were made even more beautiful with the lace chair sashes provided by the venue decorating company.
Tig and Alex went for a trio of jam jars on a log slice for each of their 16(!!) tables. That was a lot of jam jars to make! The stunning cake and macaron tower were from Cake Design by Joanna Clarke - they looked so good!

Emma and Matt's wedding

1/11/2017

Emma and Matt were married on 31 August 2017 at church in Fingringhoe, and then went onto The Coach House, Marks Hall Estate for their reception (my absolute favourite venue!) Emma and Matt chose a gorgeous selection of white, pink and blue flowers including the beautiful 'Quicksand' rose.

At the church I attached simple gypsophila pew ends to the chairs, which looked lovely along with the grey wicker hearts on the alternate chairs. Emma and Matt also went for one of the beautiful personalised boxes for their ceremony/top table arrangement and the rest of the designs making up the top table were also placed on the windowsill in the church so as to make the most of the flowers.
Emma and Matt went for three different designs for their nine table centrepieces - a trio of jam jars, a lantern with mini vases of flowers and a birdcage full of flowers. Table centres don't always have to match and if you've got a lot of ideas and can't decide what you want then this is the perfect way around that! This wedding also saw the first outing of my new silver birch log slices (available to hire!) which made up the base for each of the tables. Everything was just so pretty!

I got to work with Luca's Cakes on the classic and elegant wedding cake, which didn't need much in the way of flowers - just enough to complement.
The beautiful professional photos are by Aaron Crowe, check them out below:

Perfect day for such a lovely couple. Congratulations to Emma and Matt - all the best for your future together!
