Chloe and Stephen were married on 10 October 2022 at Fennes. They had a black and white theme for their wedding, so their flowers were mostly white with a hint of grey and soft toned foliage. 

Chloe's bouquet was so pretty, with lots of different textures and trailing black ribbons to finish. The flowers included 'avalanche' and 'early grey' roses, spray roses, dahlia, campanula, astilbe and gypsophila. For the foliage I used three different varieties of eucalyptus. How beautiful did she look when I delivered - I loved her feathered dressing gown!

The three bridesmaids carried smaller versions, with black ribbons to trail against their black dresses - so elegant.

Stephen had a grey rose with eucalyptus for his buttonhole, finished with black ribbon.

The other groomsmen wore buttonholes that were exactly the same - you don't have to do something different for the groom!

Delivered to the venue with their handwritten name labels.

The ceremony area was fairly simple by design yet it looked so beautiful and elegant. We tied simple posies of roses and eucalyptus to the end of the chairs, with gorgeous black ribbon which trailed down. We then placed a long and low arrangement on the ceremony table, which was complimented perfectly by the silk moongate arch backdrop provided by Events by the Emporium.

At Fennes they use the same marquee for the ceremony and the reception, but to keep the areas separate they set up the tables at the back and draw a curtain across. The tables are then moved out later on and the chairs from the ceremony added in place. The couple had 10 tables, so we had three different style of centrepiece, three of each, with the bridesmaid bouquets being used on the 10th table.

The top table had the long and low from the ceremony in the middle, with vases set out for the chair ends and loose foliage all the way along.

The centrepieces featured a candelabra with a garland of foliage draped around it and a few flowers, a footed bowl arrangement and candles with loose foliage. I think it always looks so lovely when couples have a few different designs on the tables, plus it means you don't have to settle on just one design when there are so many to choose from! The black accents in the table numbers and place settings helped draw everything together and it was clear the couple had paid a lot of attention to detail!

The cake was made by the bride's auntie and we decorated this with fresh flowers and greenery, in a spray running down the centre of the cake. The black ribbon finished it off perfectly and helped it tie in with the rest of the theme.

Lexie and Matthew were married on 8 October 2022 at Copdock Hall. They had their ceremony in the church with their reception to follow in the main barn.

For their flowers they went for gorgeous autumnal shades of reds, plums, pinks and creams, with the blooms including roses, spray roses, lisianthus and hypericum berries, with lots of lovely foliage in greens and reds.

Lexie's bouquet was so beautiful, with loads of different textures and interest from all angles. I finished the stems with trailing burgundy ribbon which I bet looked gorgeous against her dress!

There were three adult bridesmaids and a junior bridesmaid, who carried smaller versions of Lexie's bouquet but with ivory ribbon to finish.

Matthew's buttonhole was like a mini bouquet, with spray roses, waxflower, hypericum, limonium and mixed foliages, with burgundy ribbon to compliment the bridal bouquet.

The other men's buttonholes were the same as the groom's but I used ivory ribbon on these as with the bridesmaid bouquets - it's all in the details!

Delivered to the church!

For the ladies I mixed up the flowers a little just to add a bit of variation, so for these I used lisianthus instead of one of the spray roses and dried lavender instead of the limonium. 

The church looked beautiful when all set up. As with most churches it looks lovely on its own, especially with that stunning stained glass window at the front, so we didn't need to go too big with the decor here. I tied flowers to the end of every other pew and placed a couple of statement pedestal arrangements at the front. These would later be moved over to the venue.

At the main venue it was clear how much attention the bride and groom had paid to the details, with carved pumpkins and little nick nacks here and there. I decorated the welcome sign with a garland of mixed foliages which looked beautiful. 

A mid sized long and low arrangement adorned the top table, with some vases laid out for the bridesmaid bouquets to be placed into. 

The tables were really well thought out, with the couple providing their own log slices, candles, pumpkin ornaments and table number bottles. I placed a tall bud vase with a few stems inside and a smaller mason jar for one of the chair ends to be moved into after the ceremony.

The stunning cake was designed by The Beautiful Cakery (this was her last ever wedding cake before she moved on to pastures new!) and we provided fresh flowers for decorating - the pop of colour next to the buttercream looked amazing.
