Debbie and Mark were married on 12 August 2022 at Houchins. They chose a classic colour palette of blush pink and ivory, with their flowers including some stunning garden roses, astilbe, lisianthus and freesia. Debs' bouquet was a beauty - the prettiest combination and the most heavenly scent with the o'hara garden roses and freesia. I also included a few homegrown dahlias from my cutting garden. There were three adult bridesmaids and three junior bridesmaids. The adults carried smaller versions of Debbie's bouquet, and the juniors carried smaller versions of the adult's bouquets! They were all finished with soft pink ribbon. Boxed up and delivered to the venue! Mark wore a double spray rose buttonhole with foliage, with a single version for the other men. Welcome to the wedding! We dressed the welcome sign with a garland of flowers along the top - the perfect entry! The ceremony area looked so pretty all set up. I hung my foliage curtain from the loggia, tied flowers to the chairs and filled a personalised box with blooms for the ceremony table. This makes for a lovely keepsake after the wedding - perfect for storing wedding mementos in or even for planting up in the garden. The top table had the box moved over and placed in the centre. We then dressed the rest of the table with my geometric tealight holders and loosely placed eucalyptus. The table plan was decorated in a similar way to the welcome sign. For the tables Debbie and Mark had had a great time drinking lots of gin!! We placed two bottles on a log slice, one with flowers and one they had filled with fairy lights. We then placed another tealight holder with foliage wrapped around the log. A fairly simple set up but so effective - especially as the two bottles were for the same brand and then the table was named after that brand. Just a single thank you bouquet to finish off. A little preview of the happy couple courtesy of the bride - doesn't Debs look stunning!! It was one of the hottest days of the year too but it doesn't seem to be bothering them here! I hope Debs and Mark had a wonderful day!

Scarlett and Reece were married on 11 August 2022 at All Saints Church in Great Braxted, with their reception to follow at Braxted Park. They chose pretty pinks and whites for their flowers which included roses, stocks, lisianthus, scabious and gypsophila. Scarlett's bouquet was so pretty, with a beautiful fragrance from the stocks and trailing pink ribbons. The three bridesmaids carried smaller versions, with just a hint of pink and trailing ivory ribbons. There was also a junior bridesmaid and two flower girls, who all carried mini bouquets which I bet looked so sweet! Boxed up ready for delivery! Reece's buttonhole featured spray roses and eucalyptus, with smaller single flowers for the other men. Finally two wrist corsages for the mums - so pretty! At the church a floral arch adorned the entrance way and the perfect summers day would've made for some beautiful photos - just look at that gorgeous blue sky! This is the church where my lovely mum is buried so it's always really special for me when I get to do a wedding here. My freelancer Lisa got this cheeky snap of me under the arch! Inside the church we tied flowers to the end of the pews and placed a stunning arrangement on the font. The couple planned to later use this on their top table, so we made it as a longer, lower arrangement so it would work in both locations. At the venue the top table was fairly empty to start but as the font arrangement, bouquets and pew ends were all going to be moved here it wasn't going to be empty for long and I bet it looked beautiful when full of flowers! The centrepieces were a mix of tall arrangements on conical vases and lower arrangements on glass footed bowls. All of the containers were hired from me but the flowers were all designed so that they could be taken home at the end of the night. I also provided fresh flowers for the cake but this hadn't been delivered before we'd finished. A little preview of the happy couple, courtesy of Matt Wing Photo! I hope Scarlett and Reece had a wonderful day!
Toni and Perry were married on 6 August 2022 at Prested Hall. They chose the prettiest colour palette of nude pinks, whites and soft blues, incorporating 'amnesia' roses, spray roses, astilbe, astrantia and delphinium. Toni opted to have no blue in her bouquet, so I used a mix of the nudes and whites which looked lovely, all finished with soft taupe ribbon. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions with a bit of blue - how stunning is that delphinium!! The junior bridesmaids and flower girl carried floral hoops for something a little bit different, with trailing ribbons for the flower girl as an extra sweet little detail. Boxed up ready for delivery! Perry wore a buttonhole incorporating all three of the wedding colours, with spray roses and delphinium, mixed foliages and a little hint of bleached ruscus. The other men wore smaller versions with just a single spray rose. Toni and Perry's ceremony was held outside in the lovely sunshine. The entrance arch with silk flowers was provided by a separate prop hire company, but we tied fresh flowers to the end of the chairs and scattered petals down the aisle. They also made the most of the flowers they already had by having the meadow arrangements from the top table at the front of the aisle and one of the centrepieces on the ceremony table. The marquee looked stunning all dressed up. With props provide by Party Squared I decorated the centre of the tables with a mix of glass footed bowl arrangements and bud vases. With banquet style tables you really don't end up with much space in the centre of the tables once all your crockery/glassware etc is set; something to bear in mind if you're having this kind of set up for your wedding! The footed bowl arrangements were asymmetric in design, rather than round, so they worked nicely once placed lengthwise. Everything was designed in such a way that the flowers could be taken home by guests at the end of the night. The sweetheart table looked beautiful - the two meadow arrangements from the ceremony were moved over with a few little bud vases and candles from Party Squared. Victoria added the draping in at the last minute which just finished it off perfectly. Victoria also provided this stunning cake hoop and a member of the bride's family made the cake. I dressed this up with fresh flowers, foliages and dried materials. The bride sent me a few photos - how stunning does she look?! I also love the bridesmaids blue dresses, the matched the flowers perfectly. I hope Toni and Perry had a wonderful day!
Katie and Rick were married on 3 August 2022 at Braxted Park. They chose a pretty colour palette of blush pink, pastel blue and white, with flowers including roses, astilbe, delphinium, agapanthus and astrantia. Katie's bouquet was soft and pretty, with trailing ribbons in shades of blush and ivory. The three bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets that had a gypsophila base, with pink roses, astilbe and delphinium, and trailing ribbons to match the bridal bouquet. Ready for delivery, with little sprigs of gyp for the bridesmaids' hair. The bridesmaids looking lovely with their hair styled by Rhapsody Hair and Events. Rick's buttonhole featured the three colours of the wedding, with spray roses and delphinium. The other men's buttonholes were all the same, finished with a little bit of ivory ribbon. The ceremony at Braxted Park was held in the orangery, which is a beautiful room with murals on the wall and floor to ceiling windows. The couple had hired a silk flower moongate for the backdrop and simple sashes for the chairs, and we added gyp chair ends, a long and low on the table and petals down the aisle. The top table had the long and low moved over from the ceremony room, and then vases laid out for the bouquets and chair ends. For the guest tables the couple requested hoop centrepieces that could be taken home at the end of the night. They also had a Tiptree them, with jam themed table names and mini jam jar favours. The cake was designed by Cakes at Kim's and the couple ordered a simple floral arrangement for on top. I hope Katie and Rick had a lovely day!
Charlotte and Ricky were married on 30 July 2022 at Gaynes Park. They went for classic all whites for their flowers, which included roses, spray roses, stocks, scabious and astilbe. We also used an abundance of eucalyptus and a few dahlias cut from the cutting garden. Charlotte's bouquet was beautiful, with trailing ivory satin ribbon to finish it off. And with the stocks in there it had the most lovely fragrance! The two bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Charlotte's bouquet. Ricky's buttonhole featured spray roses, astilbe, gypsophila and foliage. The other men wore smaller buttonholes with just a single spray rose and no astilbe, all finished with ivory ribbon to match the bouquets. At the venue we decorated the welcome sign and a crate display outside the orangery - I love how the couple had the crates personalised, it makes for a lovely keepsake after the wedding. Inside the orangery the ceremony area was beautiful - from the back wall we hung white lanterns with flowers and foliage cascading out of them. I painstakingly took all of the glass out of the lanterns, but this design is already proving to be popular with other couples so I'm not going to rush to put it back! How lovely does it look?! The trailing jasmine just finishes them off perfectly. Along the ceremony table we placed a garland with white roses running throughout, and the chairs were adorned with flowers to match - larger ones for the bride and groom's chairs and smaller ones for the guests. The barn at Gaynes Park is so lovely on it's own that you don't have to get too carried away with decor in here. Charlotte and Ricky kept it quite simple with candles in glass vases atop a log slice, surrounded by foliage and white flowers. The top table featured three separate garlands - the centre part was lifted out to place on the registrars table, and could then be moved over after the ceremony and placed back on the top table. It all went together seamlessly, with roses and candles running throughout. We also placed some vases for the bouquets to be placed into after the photographs as additional decor. A closer look at the table centrepieces - we used a mix of pillar and floating candles which I think worked really nicely, to give a classic, elegant look. We also provided 90 sprigs of eucalyptus which the venue then placed on each setting. The stunning cake was made by Sticky Fingers Cake Co. and we provided fresh flowers and sprigs of foliage for Lou to decorate it with- how lovely does it look! I haven't seen any of the professional shots yet but here's just a little preview of the happy couple courtesy of the bride: I hope Charlotte and Ricky had a lovely day!
