Sam and Alex were married on 17 November 2018 at Maidens Barn. They went for a dusky pink, lilac and ivory colour scheme for their flowers, including some special requests of the bride including roses, carnations and thistles. Amongst the roses I used the aptly named "Samantha's Bridal" - so perfect for a bride called Samantha! Sam's bouquet was a pretty one - full of texture and a lovely mix of colours. The bridesmaids carried all gyp bouquets, finished with a simple ivory ribbon. All boxed up and ready for delivery. I'm looking at different delivery options for next year because navigating tight corners with these big boxes isn't the easiest thing and storing them in my workshop just takes up too much space! The men's buttonholes were all gyp as well - so cute! At the venue I designed the long and low for the ceremony/top table and gyp chair ends for the chairs lining the aisle. The bride and groom provided their own centrepieces which were so very autumnal including log slices, pine cones, autumn leaves and candles. The delicious looking cake is by Sweet Slice of Italy - she constructed it on site and I then decorated it with some garlands of eucalyptus. So simple but so elegant and effective. No sign of the professional photos yet but here's a sneak peek courtesy of some of the couple's guests. Wishing a lifetime of happiness to this lovely couple 💗

Sarah and Chris were married on 3 November 2018 at one of my favourite venues - Houchins. They chose a mostly white and green colour scheme for the flowers, with a few pops of dark pink coming through - I got to use the most incredible proteas for Sarah's bouquet. Sarah's bouquet was just stunning - definitely up there with my favourites! The pops of dark pink coming through really make the bouquet and those protea are just amazing! The bridesmaids carried smaller, all white bouquets finished with dark green satin ribbon. We provided flowers for the ceremony area in the venue - a long and low for the table and two large pedestal arrangements to stand either side. I also laid out glass vases along the mantelpiece and in other places in the room for the bouquets to be placed into as additional decoration. The family provided some of the flowers themselves, including the chair ends and table centrepieces. Some florists are full service only and won't allow their clients to DIY any of the flowers but I'm quite relaxed - Sarah and Chris got a lot of the same flowers that I was using so the flowers complimented each other and they left the more important arrangements (like the bouquets) for me to do which I think is quite important. Plus the groom's mum was so excited to show me all the bits that they'd done that I would have hated to put a dampener on that joy! Lastly in the venue I hung these floral/foliage hoops behind the top table. These were so much fun to make and they looked fabulous in the venue! I have these hoops to hire and they're relatively inexpensive considering the size of them and the impact they make (especially if you go for all foliage ones) so please do get in touch if you'd like something similar for your wedding. The good thing about Houchins is they already have a load of hooks along that back wall so hanging them up was really easy - definitely something to think about because unsurprisingly enough most venues don't like you hammering nails into their walls! Love, Hannah xx Nicola and Lawrence were married on 20 October 2018 at All Saints Church in Great Braxted, with their reception to follow at Weddings at Braxted Park. They chose a pretty, soft colour palette of blush pink and ivory with 'sweet avalanche' roses, 'helen of troy' roses, spray roses, dahlias, astilbe, lisianthus, viburnum and eucalyptus. Nicola's bouquet was so very, very pretty! Soft tones and shapes and the loveliest colour combination. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bride's bouquet, and then there was a smaller version still for the flower girl. The groom's buttonhole featured a selection of flowers to match the bridal bouquet, and the groomsmen had similar buttonholes just in a slightly simplified set up. There were also a couple of matching corsages for the mums. Looking cute in their little vases ready for delivery! Here's a little preview of the happy couple and the bride with her bridesmaids, courtesy of a wedding guest. Wishing Nicola and Lawrence a long and happy future together 💗
Love, Hannah xx Lucie and Stuart were married on 7 October 2018 at Leez Priory Wedding Venue. They went for a beautiful colour scheme of vintage purple and ivory, using the stunning 'amnesia' rose, 'avalanche' roses, trachelium, gypsophila and eucalyptus. The bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets of just gypsophila - finished with pretty white lace. The flower girl had a super cute wand made of gypsophila and designed into the shape of a heart. All boxed up and ready for delivery! There were a mix of different designs for the buttonholes and corsages. The groom had a selection of flowers to match the bridal bouquet - an amnesia rose, gypsophila and eucalyptus. The groomsmen and little page boy had all gyp to match the bridesmaids and flower girl, the bride's mum had a white rose with gyp and the groom's mum had a larger grouping of gyp. The buttonholes were finished with twine (to make them more "manly"!) and the corsages were finished with lace to match the bouquets. All the little details count in a wedding! Along the ceremony table we dotted little bud vases with a few stems in each - simple but very effective. These were later moved to the top table for the wedding breakfast. The ceremony and reception were held in the same room so the tables centrepieces had to be set up in the kitchen ready to be moved over later! Lucie and Stuart went for a set up of two jam jars on a wooden log slice - perfectly rustic for the setting of Leez Priory. Here's a little sneak peek from the professional photographer - Lewis Cabuche Photography. Such a loved up couple! Wishing this lovely couple all the best for their future together 💜
