Gemma and James' wedding

30/8/2023

Gemma and James were married on 17 August 2023 at Vaulty Manor 💜 they chose a beautiful colour palette of lilac, blue, pink, peach and white, with roses, stocks, delphinium and clematis amongst the blooms.
Gemma's bouquet was so pretty and full of texture, and without any bridesmaids we really made it into a focal piece. The stems were finished with natural jute ribbon, which really complimented the barn setting of the venue.

James' buttonhole was kept neutral in white, with a rose, gypsophila and foliage, and finished with twine.

The other men all had exactly the same for their buttonholes.

For the ladies I made fancier corsages, one as a lapel corsage and two around the wrist. Two of these were just white and the other a mix of lilac and white - it's so lovely when a couple takes the different outfits into consideration and uniquely designs each corsage to match!

The ceremony was held outside on a perfect, sunny day! I hired the couple my freestanding metal arch to frame them as they said their vows and we placed lanterns with loose foliage down the aisle. The gazebo at Vaulty does already have a silk arrangement attached to it and it did detract a little from the fresh flower arch in the couple's colours, so it is really important to consider any existing decor at your venue when planning your flowers!

The lanterns added interest down the aisle without limiting the space for the bride's dress too much! The garden surrounds are so beautiful that it didn't really need much else.

I also provided a basket of fresh confetti for the guests to throw - a mix of rose petals and eucalyptus leaves.

The venue looked beautiful with a mix of tall arrangements and bud vases on the tables. For the top table the couple were just going to use the bride's bouquet in a vase and then move the arch over, but I thought it needed a little more so I used a bit of creative license to build the design a little with some of the bud vases from the tables and a bit of extra foliage around the vase.

Emma and Ryan's wedding

Emma and Ryan were married on 12 August 2023 at Apton Hall. They chose a beautiful colour palette of champagne and white for their flowers, with some gorgeous roses, stocks, astilbe and bunny tails.
Picture
Emma's bouquet was soft and pretty, with trailing chiffon ribbons which finished the design off perfectly. I absolutely adore the champagne colour scheme and think it just looks so beautiful and romantic.

The four bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Emma's bouquet, and that sage green chiffon ribbon is just stunning!

Boxed up ready for delivery!

Ryan's buttonhole featured two 'Royal Porcelina' spray roses with bunny tails and foliage.
Picture
The other men wore smaller versions with just a single rose.
Picture
Delivered to the venue in their little vases and with handwritten name tags.

We dressed the ceremony with a beautiful long and low arrangement on the table and cascading foliage chair ends. The bride's auntie used to be a florist so she added the other florals as a gift to the couple.
Picture
The tables featured a gold lantern with a ring of flowers around the outside, with the addition of some vases for the bouquets on the top table. The ceremony and reception were held in the same room so we set up in a side room and the venue moved the tables out later on.

I haven't seen any of the professional photos yet so here's one of the happy couple courtesy of the bride's instagram:

Kayleigh and Adam's wedding

Kayleigh and Adam were married on 11 August 2023 in a church ceremony, with their reception to follow at Houchins. They chose classic whites and greens for their flowers, which included roses, dahlias, stocks and astilbe. Kayleigh's bouquet was soft and floaty, finished with trailing sage green and ivory ribbons.

The three bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Kayleigh's bouquet, with the ivory ribbon kept neat to the stems.

For the flower girl I made a flower hoop with ribbons to match the bride - so sweet!
I delivered to the family home, which was made all the more pretty with all the flowers!

Adam's buttonhole featured two white spray roses with lots of foliage.

The other men wore smaller versions with just a single rose.

Delivered in their little vases and each with a personalised name tag!

The church decor was kept simple with just pew ends on every other row. There were some pedestal/altar arrangements that the church had added which luckily were white and green so they actually matched perfectly!
Picture

Welcome to the wedding! We dressed the mirrored welcome sign with a simple garland of foliage and white flowers.
The venue looked stunning all dressed up.
Picture
The top table was beautifully decorated with a garland the full length of the table, white flowers dotted throughout and taper candles in glass holders. I particularly love the cushions with the bride and groom's faces on them! The guest tables were a mix of tall and low centrepieces, all with candles for a beautiful, stunning set up.

The stunning cake was made by Occasions Cake Studio and we provided fresh flowers to decorate - they made two sweeping placements on the 5 tier cake. We added in some more candles and some small vases for the pew ends to be placed in later on.
Picture
Kayleigh and Adam were utilising the outdoor marquee space at Houchins for their evening party, with music and a bar, so we dressed the marquee poles with some gorgeous garlanding.

Rachel and Adam were married on 29 July 2023 at Houchins. They chose whites and greens for their flowers, with just a touch of blush pink in the bridal bouquet. The flowers included peonies, roses, astilbe and astrantia, with homegrown dahlias and snapdragons. Rachel's bouquet was finished with trailing white chiffon ribbon.

Ready for delivery and a happy bride!

The ceremony area looked beautiful all set up, with my foliage curtain, vases on the table for the bouquets and small posies of flowers and foliage tied to the end of the chairs lining the aisle.

The couple repurposed a lot of their flowers for the tables, with vases for the bouquets and chair ends, and then candles with a ring of flowers around the base. I hired them some of the tealights and they provided their own taper candles and table runners. All together the simple white, green and gold palette worked beautifully.
