Zoe and Dan were married on 26 May 2023 at Woodhall Manor. They chose classic whites and greens for their flowers, which included roses, peonies, astilbe, and stocks - it smelt divine in my studio! Zoe's bouquet was beautiful, textured but not wild and with neat ivory ribbon to finish it off. I included some bunny tails amongst the flowers which gave it a fun vibe and softened the whole look. The five bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Zoe's bouquet, each with the same flowers and finished with the same ribbon. They wore stunning soft blue dresses and the flowers looked gorgeous against them. All boxed up ready for delivery! Dan's buttonhole featured a spray rose, astrantia, bunny tails and foliage. The other men wore slightly smaller versions without the astrantia. The couple ordered a floral collar for their doggy baby, which had small and dainty flowers to match the bouquets. I'd never been to Woodhall Manor before but it's a stunning venue! It was such a beautiful day and the couple were so lucky to be able to have their ceremony outside. I placed a long and low on the table, which was later moved to the top table, and tied flowers to the end of every other chair lining the aisle. The couple did their own centrepieces with candles and faux foliage, but I added a sprig of fresh eucalyptus to the place settings. I used a mix of different varieties of eucalyptus for interest. The stunning pro photos come courtesy of Lucie Watson Photography - check them out below.

Suzanne and Shaun were married on 29 April 2023 at Houchins Wedding Venue with Accommodation. They chose classic whites and greens for their flowers, which included roses, ranunculus, astilbe, stocks and astrantia, with lots of eucalyptus and soft ruscus foliage. Suzanne's bouquet was beautiful, with soft and fluffy textures and trailing chiffon ribbons. The four bridesmaid bouquets were smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, each also finished with trailing ribbons. Ready for delivery! Shaun's buttonhole featured two spray roses, a bud and some foliage. The other men wore slightly smaller buttonholes with a spray rose and a bud. The ceremony looked stunning all set up, with a soft ruscus curtain arch, flowers on the chairs and lanterns down the aisle with loosely placed foliage. They were also planning to place the bouquets on the table during the ceremony and I hired them vases for this, so I couldn't resist popping the bouquets in first to get a complete photo - I'm so glad I did because it looked so beautiful! The couple made their own confetti cones out of books, which I filled with a mix of eucalyptus leaves and rose petals. For the tables Suzanne and Shaun had a mix of large arrangements on my hexagonal hight riser stands on half the tables, and vases for the bridesmaid bouquets on the others. I then placed tealights in various different votives to finish off each design. The stunning professional photos are courtesy of the incredibly talented Farlie Photography (with the exception of the cheeky shot she got of me delivering the bridal bouquet!) Congratulations to the happy couple!
Kirsty and Luke were married last summer in South Africa, and held their UK celebration at Channels on 6 April 2023. They chose to put their budget towards a statement arch to use as a photo backdrop, which I built around my metal arch frame. We decided to do four groupings to give a loose, unstructured, asymmetric design. For the flowers I mainly used roses, with some spray roses, snapdragons and gypsophila. I also provided some fresh flowers for the cake and cupcake stand, which were added by the baker Caked in Love. The couple also hired some of my cylindrical candle trios to place on their tables - they didn't have a formal sit down dinner so these worked perfectly as centrepieces. Congratulations to the happy couple!
Philippa and Thomas were married on 25 March 2023 at Houchins. They went for a bright, colourful, festival vibe for their big day, so I used flowers in shades of cerise, coral, yellow and purple. The blooms included roses, sunflowers, stocks, narcissus, ranunculus, anemones and tanacetum. Pippa's bouquet was a riot of colour, with trailing ribbons in bright pastel shades to finish off the stems beautifully. Pippa also wore a flower crown with small, dainty blooms and finished at the back with thin ribbons to match the bouquet. Pippa and Tom's two daughters were their flower girls, with the older one carrying a wand and wearing a flower crown, with the younger one wearing a smaller crown - check out how adorable they looked further down this post! Delivered to the venue. Thomas' buttonhole was a mini bouquet with flowers to match the bridal bouquet and finished with twine. The other men wore very similar buttonholes, with just a couple less blooms. The ceremony looked stunning all set up, with a freestanding arch to frame the couple as they said their "I dos", flowers on the chairs and colourful ribbons that the bride added. The original plan was to decorate the wooden beams however the weather was so hit and miss right up until the ceremony took place that we decided that my freestanding arch would be more suitable as it could be moved. Thankfully the weather held out in the end and they got their outdoor ceremony! The venue also looked beautiful, Pippa had paid so much attention to all the little details and it all came together wonderfully. The top table was to have the long and low moved over from the ceremony, and the guest tables each had a series of bud vases dotted down the centre, with a space in the middle for the chair ends to be moved into. A family member made the rainbow sprinkle cake, which looked amazing, and I decorated it with fresh flowers. A couple of thank you bouquets for the mums. The stunning pro photos come from Farlie Photography, I love that Charlie sends you the whole album but that does make it difficult to pick just a few favourites! I hope Philippa and Thomas had a wonderful day!
Jessica and Oliver were married on 3 December 2022 at Houchins. They went for winter whites for their flowers, with seasonal foliages including pink and conifer. Jessica's bouquet was soft and pretty, with trailing foliages and elegant green ribbon to finish. The perfect winter bouquet! The four adult bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Jessica's bouquet, each with emerald green ribbon to finish. There were also two junior bridesmaids who carried smaller versions still. For the flower girl I made a dainty flower crown with small flowers to match the bouquets, and emerald green ribbon to tie at the back. Boxed up and delivered to the venue! The couple held a traditional Chinese tea ceremony in the house first so after showing Jessica her bouquet I dropped everything off at the bar. Oliver's buttonhole featured spray roses and a lovely mix of foliages, also finished with emerald green ribbon. The other men wore slightly smaller versions with just a single spray rose. Delivered to the venue in their little vases, each with a handwritten name label. The floral decoration at the venue was kept fairly simple, with a long and low arrangement on the registrars table the only decoration in the ceremony area. The venue looked beautiful, with all the fairly lights making it feel so cosy and Christmassy! The wreaths above the fireplace are a part of the venue's Christmas decor, with a statement tree also in the lobby. The top table was a round table in the centre of the room. For this table we designed a larger version of the other centrepieces, with three mason jars in the centre and pine cones provided by the couple. The other tables had a single mason jar atop a log slice, with the sundry items provided by the bride and groom so they could gift them to their guests at the end of the night. I filled a couple of extra jars with some foliage and dotted them around the gift and sweet tables. I haven't seen any of the pro photos but here are a few of the happy couple courtesy of the bride's instagram - her hair bow and veil is just gorgeous!!! I hope Jessica and Oliver had a magical day and I wish them every happiness for the future!
