Beth and George were married on 29 October 2022 at Colville Hall. They went for classic whites and greens for their flowers, which included roses, spray roses, lisianthus, astilbe, hydrangea and astrantia. Beth's bouquet was beautiful, so textured and pretty. We kept the ribbon simple with a neat ivory satin wrap. The two bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Beth's bouquet. George's buttonhole featured a single white rose with foliage, with a smaller version for the other men featuring a spray rose and greenery. The couple went all out with their venue decor and it looked stunning. There are two barns at Colville Hall, one for the ceremony and one for the reception. In the ceremony barn we decorated the welcome sign with fresh flowers. We also tied flowers to the ends of the chairs and set out our four pedestal stands, painted silver for this occasion, two at the entrance to the aisle and one on either side of the ceremony table. On the top of these were four of the floral arrangements from the table centrepieces - a wonderful way to repurpose flowers you already have to really make a statement for your ceremony. We also placed a long and low arrangement on the table. Leading into the reception barn was the table plan which we decorated in the same way as the welcome sign. The long and low was moved to the top table and vases were set out for the bridesmaid bouquets and the chair ends. The real statement piece for this wedding was this fabulous arch which lead guests through to the bar and dancefloor from the wedding breakfast. It was stunning, with mixed foliages and lots of lovely white flowers. On each of the eight guest tables was a tall glass vase with a large floral arrangement on top - four were used in the ceremony barn first so we set up the other four and left the vases on the other tables. The cake was made by a family member and kept simple with royal icing. We jazzed it up with a spray of roses down the centre, with sprigs of foliage dotted throughout - beautiful! A big thank you to my lovely freelancers who helped me pull this off! The stunning pro photos are courtesy of Chris Woodman Photography. I hope Beth and George had the best day!

Chloe and Stephen were married on 10 October 2022 at Fennes. They had a black and white theme for their wedding, so their flowers were mostly white with a hint of grey and soft toned foliage. Chloe's bouquet was so pretty, with lots of different textures and trailing black ribbons to finish. The flowers included 'avalanche' and 'early grey' roses, spray roses, dahlia, campanula, astilbe and gypsophila. For the foliage I used three different varieties of eucalyptus. How beautiful did she look when I delivered - I loved her feathered dressing gown! The three bridesmaids carried smaller versions, with black ribbons to trail against their black dresses - so elegant. Ready for delivery! Stephen had a grey rose with eucalyptus for his buttonhole, finished with black ribbon. The other groomsmen wore buttonholes that were exactly the same - you don't have to do something different for the groom! Delivered to the venue with their handwritten name labels. The ceremony area was fairly simple by design yet it looked so beautiful and elegant. We tied simple posies of roses and eucalyptus to the end of the chairs, with gorgeous black ribbon which trailed down. We then placed a long and low arrangement on the ceremony table, which was complimented perfectly by the silk moongate arch backdrop provided by Events by the Emporium. At Fennes they use the same marquee for the ceremony and the reception, but to keep the areas separate they set up the tables at the back and draw a curtain across. The tables are then moved out later on and the chairs from the ceremony added in place. The couple had 10 tables, so we had three different style of centrepiece, three of each, with the bridesmaid bouquets being used on the 10th table. The top table had the long and low from the ceremony in the middle, with vases set out for the chair ends and loose foliage all the way along. The centrepieces featured a candelabra with a garland of foliage draped around it and a few flowers, a footed bowl arrangement and candles with loose foliage. I think it always looks so lovely when couples have a few different designs on the tables, plus it means you don't have to settle on just one design when there are so many to choose from! The black accents in the table numbers and place settings helped draw everything together and it was clear the couple had paid a lot of attention to detail! The cake was made by the bride's auntie and we decorated this with fresh flowers and greenery, in a spray running down the centre of the cake. The black ribbon finished it off perfectly and helped it tie in with the rest of the theme. The stunning professional photos are courtesy of Sally Rawlins Photography - check them out below. I hope Chloe and Stephen had a wonderful day!
Lexie and Matthew were married on 8 October 2022 at Copdock Hall. They had their ceremony in the church with their reception to follow in the main barn. For their flowers they went for gorgeous autumnal shades of reds, plums, pinks and creams, with the blooms including roses, spray roses, lisianthus and hypericum berries, with lots of lovely foliage in greens and reds. Lexie's bouquet was so beautiful, with loads of different textures and interest from all angles. I finished the stems with trailing burgundy ribbon which I bet looked gorgeous against her dress! There were three adult bridesmaids and a junior bridesmaid, who carried smaller versions of Lexie's bouquet but with ivory ribbon to finish. Boxed up ready for delivery! Matthew's buttonhole was like a mini bouquet, with spray roses, waxflower, hypericum, limonium and mixed foliages, with burgundy ribbon to compliment the bridal bouquet. The other men's buttonholes were the same as the groom's but I used ivory ribbon on these as with the bridesmaid bouquets - it's all in the details! Delivered to the church! For the ladies I mixed up the flowers a little just to add a bit of variation, so for these I used lisianthus instead of one of the spray roses and dried lavender instead of the limonium. The church looked beautiful when all set up. As with most churches it looks lovely on its own, especially with that stunning stained glass window at the front, so we didn't need to go too big with the decor here. I tied flowers to the end of every other pew and placed a couple of statement pedestal arrangements at the front. These would later be moved over to the venue. At the main venue it was clear how much attention the bride and groom had paid to the details, with carved pumpkins and little nick nacks here and there. I decorated the welcome sign with a garland of mixed foliages which looked beautiful. A mid sized long and low arrangement adorned the top table, with some vases laid out for the bridesmaid bouquets to be placed into. The tables were really well thought out, with the couple providing their own log slices, candles, pumpkin ornaments and table number bottles. I placed a tall bud vase with a few stems inside and a smaller mason jar for one of the chair ends to be moved into after the ceremony. The stunning cake was designed by The Beautiful Cakery (this was her last ever wedding cake before she moved on to pastures new!) and we provided fresh flowers for decorating - the pop of colour next to the buttercream looked amazing. I haven't seen any photos yet but I hope Lexie and Matthew had a lovely day!
Lily and Craig were married on 3 September 2022 at Houchins. The bride's favourite colour is orange so they went for classic autumnal for their flowers, with roses, etc in shades of orange, red and yellow, with peaches and lots of foliage. Lily's bouquet was so vivid and beautiful, with lots of foliage to compliment the flowers and orange ribbon to finish. It matched perfectly with the bride's dressing gown when I delivered it to her! The four bridesmaids carried smaller versions of Lily's bouquet. Lily also had a man of honour, so I made him a special buttonhole with a mix of flowers to match the bouquets. Boxed up and delivered to the venue. Craig's buttonhole featured orange spray roses, bunny tails, foliage and mini succulents. The other men wore smaller versions without the succulents. Delivered to the venue. The ceremony area at Houchins looked beautiful all set up, with my foliage curtain and a garland of flowers along the table. The venue looked fabulous all set up. The tables were fairly simple in design, set out in a banquet style with runners down the middle. The bride and groom then provided a load of wine bottles which I filled with flowers. Each table had a different colour scheme, so for the first table which the bride and groom were to sit on was orange. I filled the wine bottles on this table with all orange flowers, with a few pops of burgundy running throughout. There was also foliage loosely placed along the table at the base of the bottles. The second table was peach, again with some burgundy dotted throughout. The third and final table was yellow, giving a wonderful pop of colour to the venue. The bride and groom also provided a vase to be placed next to the table plan, so I filled this with a bouquet of flowers to match the rest of the wedding. The professional photos come courtesy of Kristian Lissimore, and don't they look beautiful?! I hope Lily and Craig had a wonderful day!
Ellea and Ian were married on 29 August 2022 at Gosfield Hall. They chose pretty pinks and whites for their flowers, which included roses, spray roses, stocks and gypsophila, with soft toned eucalyptus foliage. Ellea's bouquet was so pretty, soft and fluffy with a beautiful fragrance from the stocks. We finished with trailing ribbon in pink and ivory. The six bridesmaids carried smaller bouquets of all white flowers, with the ribbon kept neat to the stem. The two little flower girls carried baskets with fresh rose petals inside for them to scatter. All boxed up and ready for delivery! Ian wore a double spray rose buttonhole in all white, with lovely eucalyptus and pink ribbon. The other men wore smaller versions with a single rose and ivory ribbon. For the mums we designed wrist corsages of all white flowers on pearl beaded bracelets. Delivered to the venue, with a thank you bouquet for the groom's mum. The ceremony was held outside on a beautiful sunny day. The couple brought in a bench which was dedicated to the groom's late father which I thought was a lovely idea. We tied a little posy of flowers to this and placed a long and low arrangement on the table. The silk blossom trees were hired from a different company but framed the whole area beautifully. The long and low was later used on the top table, with bud vases dotted along the rest of the table. The couple hired silk blossom trees for half of their tables and then used some of the bridesmaid bouquets on the others - we made a bit more of a feature of these with a mirror plate and tealights in glass votives. We decorated the single tier cake by Bear and Cub Cakes and doughnut tower provided by the couple with fresh flowers - my tummy was rumbling while doing this because it all smelt so yummy! A little thank you bouquet for the groom's mum. I haven't seen any of the professional photos yet but here's a little preview of the happy couple from instagram: I hope Ellea and Ian had a lovely day!
