Amy and James were married on 31 August 2019 in a church ceremony, with their reception to follow at Layer Marney Tower. They went for mostly white flowers with a few pops of peachy/pink and eucalyptus foliage to compliment. We kept Amy's bouquet quite neat and compact which really showed off the lovely flowers. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, with all the same flowers and foliages. Boxed up and ready for delivery! The buttonholes featured a white lisianthus flower with a mix of foliages. They were finished with ivory satin ribbon to match the bouquets. I loved the set up at the church - we got to create an arch design around the altar screen. I pre-made some foliage garlands and wrapped these round the beams framing the ceremony area. We then added in two clusters of all white flowers - one in each of the top corners to finish off the arch shape. A little action shot of me at work! Thanks to my faithful assistant (aka mum!) for the photo. To decorate the stairs leading up the wedding breakfast we added in simple foliage garlands, which the groom then strung fairy lights around which I imagine looked beautiful when all lit up in the evening. A simple foliage garland decorated the seating plan. The Long Gallery looked very elegant once all set up. The table centrepieces featured three different designs - a tall martini vase arrangement, a mid-height arrangement in a gold container and a trio of glass vases with candles inside, with flowers and foliages around the base. Along the top of the mantlepiece we placed two floral arrangements, interspersed between three hurricane vases with a candle in each. I don't know if anyone from the venue got up there later in the day to light them - we had to use a ladder to climb up to place them! The beautiful cake was made by the groom's mum which we decorated with fresh flowers and scattered eucalyptus leaves. The beautiful professional photos come courtesy of Will Stedman Photography: Congratulations to the newlyweds, I hope they had an amazing day! 💕
