Annabel and Dave's Wedding

Annabel and Dave were married on 28 April 2018 at Red Brick Barn and Sutton Hall Events. Their pretty, rustic arrangements included roses, spray roses, ranunculus, alstroemeria, veronica, gypsophila, dried lavender, thlaspi and eucalyptus. I posted some sneak peeks of the flowers on my Instagram story as I was creating the arrangements, so make sure you're following me on Insta if you're interested in a behind-the-scenes look at my future weddings!

Once made up all the bouquets and buttonholes are kept in water overnight and right up until delivery to ensure their freshness and to get them through the wedding...and beyond!
On the morning of the wedding I get all the flowers prepped for delivery. Everything has to be secure in the back of the van - for me the worst part of a wedding is the delivery! I take bends, corners and roundabouts as slowly as I can but I still have the fear that something is going to get damaged en route! Luckily nothing has happened so far in two years of having the van (touch wood!) but I can't help but worry.
I absolutely loved Annabel's bouquet. There was so much texture going on with different shapes and sizes in the flowers, plus a lovely scent from the dried lavender and eucalyptus. The trailing ribbons looked beautiful against the bridesmaids' purple dresses and they really add a little something extra to the bouquets.

The groom had a mix of flowers from the bride's bouquet for his buttonhole, while the best man and bride's dad had a mini version of the bridesmaid bouquets for theirs - they look so cute!
I love a tree lined driveway, and the venue had a beautiful one on the drive in!

I set up the long and low at the church first, which would later be moved over to the venue. The vintage finishes to the whole wedding were just perfect - including old typewriters, bikes, log slices, jugs, armchairs and watering cans.

Here's a sneak peek of the beautiful bride, with her handsome new husband and lovely bridesmaids, kindly borrowed from the bride's Facebook page! I look forward to seeing the professional photos.
Wishing this lovely couple all the best for their future together!
