Gemma and James were married on 17 August 2023 at Vaulty Manor 💜 they chose a beautiful colour palette of lilac, blue, pink, peach and white, with roses, stocks, delphinium and clematis amongst the blooms. Gemma's bouquet was so pretty and full of texture, and without any bridesmaids we really made it into a focal piece. The stems were finished with natural jute ribbon, which really complimented the barn setting of the venue. James' buttonhole was kept neutral in white, with a rose, gypsophila and foliage, and finished with twine. The other men all had exactly the same for their buttonholes. For the ladies I made fancier corsages, one as a lapel corsage and two around the wrist. Two of these were just white and the other a mix of lilac and white - it's so lovely when a couple takes the different outfits into consideration and uniquely designs each corsage to match! The ceremony was held outside on a perfect, sunny day! I hired the couple my freestanding metal arch to frame them as they said their vows and we placed lanterns with loose foliage down the aisle. The gazebo at Vaulty does already have a silk arrangement attached to it and it did detract a little from the fresh flower arch in the couple's colours, so it is really important to consider any existing decor at your venue when planning your flowers! The lanterns added interest down the aisle without limiting the space for the bride's dress too much! The garden surrounds are so beautiful that it didn't really need much else. I also provided a basket of fresh confetti for the guests to throw - a mix of rose petals and eucalyptus leaves. The venue looked beautiful with a mix of tall arrangements and bud vases on the tables. For the top table the couple were just going to use the bride's bouquet in a vase and then move the arch over, but I thought it needed a little more so I used a bit of creative license to build the design a little with some of the bud vases from the tables and a bit of extra foliage around the vase. The doughnut stack was made by Dough Doughs and we provided fresh flowers to decorate. The gorgeous pro photos are courtesy of Natalie and Max Photography, and I'm so grateful that they shared so many with me! Check them out below: I hope Gemma and James had an amazing day!
