Catherine and Iain were married on 7 July 2018 at Dove Barn. With Iain's Scottish heritage it was only natural for the couple to go for a Scottish theme for their flowers; using white roses, thistles, lavender, eucalyptus and pittosporum. I only provided the bridal flowers for this wedding but I got to deliver them to beautiful Lavenham where the bride was getting ready. The bridesmaids held smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, but using grey eryngium rather than blue - the bridesmaids wore navy dresses so inverting the colours meant that the flowers didn't get lost against them. All packaged up and ready for delivery! Iain's buttonhole drew flowers from the bridal bouquet, incorporating a spray rose, blue thistle, lavender and pitto. The bride's bouquet and the groom's buttonhole were finished with the groom's family tartan, which was a lovely touch. The other groomsmen buttonholes didn't have the blue thistle and just had spray roses, but the ladies corsages had a little bit of everything - it's quite nice for the ladies to have a corsage that's a bit bigger and 'fancier' than the men's buttonholes. There were also two flower girls that wore little wrist corsages on a length of ivory satin ribbon. I've posted below a sneak peek of the stunning professional photographs by AxL Photography. Wishing a very happy future to this lovely couple 💙
Love, Hannah x
