Danielle and Harry were married on 26 May 2022 at Millbridge Court. They chose classic all whites and greens for their flowers, which included roses, astrantia, astilbe and scented sweet peas (homegrown of course!) Danielle's bouquet was finished with trails of ivory satin ribbon. The six bridesmaids all carried smaller versions of Danielle's bouquet, also all finished with trailing ribbon. Little wands for the flower girls - how cute! Harry wore a white rose buttonhole with some foliage. The other men wore smaller buttonholes with a single spray rose and foliage. It was a bit of a trek to the venue, even though I left the studio at 6.30am! But Millbridge Court is a beautiful venue and I was excited at the prospect of working somewhere different. Firstly I decorated the welcome sign which the groom had made out of copper piping. Unfortunately the frame wasn't very study and couldn't support the weight of the flowers along the top so I adjusted the design and made meadow style arrangements at the base instead. I actually loved this arrangement though, possibly more than the original design! The ceremony area was just beautiful so we went for minimal decoration here - the groom also made these amazing plinths (which thankfully were sturdy!) and I had made a couple of urn arrangements which sat on top. The reception area looked beautiful all set up - classic whites and greens, with candles on the tables and loose foliages and flowers. The top table featured a garland along the full length with flowers dotted throughout, and glass vases with floating candles. We decorated another frame for the seating plan with similar meadow style arrangements. The cake was simple white icing, so we dressed this with roses and greenery. A couple of thank you bouquets for the mums. The beautiful pro photos are by Sophie Duckworth Photography. I hope Danielle and Harry had a lovely day!
