Hannah and Curt's wedding

3/5/2019

Hannah and Curt were married on 11 April 2019 at Leez Priory. They went for a beautiful blush pink and ivory colour scheme for their flowers and I used roses, astilbe, sweet peas, lisianthus and eucalyptus, amongst others.

Hannah's bouquet was oh so pretty - the perfect blush and ivory mix, finished off with trailing satin ribbons in shades of blush, ivory and mink.

Hannah's two bridesmaids carried smaller versions of her bouquet, with the addition of some lace in the ribbon trails.

I also created a hair piece for the bride's hair - this was to be slightly longer and curved so as to go around the back of Hannah's head. I created it on a comb so it could be easily attached, with the foliage ends on wire so they could be easily adjusted. I also provided some loose sprigs of foliage and waxflower to lengthen the design as required. The two photos below are from the hair stylist, Bumblebee Bridal, who I think did a stunning job!

The buttonholes featured a white spray rose with gypsophila and some eucalyptus, with a double buttonhole for the groom. In contrast to the bouquets the buttonholes were finished with twine, to beef them up a bit!

At the venue the couple went for a foliage, gyp and waxflower long and low for their ceremony table, which was later moved over to the top table.
The tables consisted of a variety of different gin bottles and jam jars filled with flowers - I loved the little personalised hearts on the jars!

The table plan looked stunning with some eucalyptus clipped onto the wire frame - it finished it off perfectly.

The gorgeously elegant cake was supplied by Jennifer Cakes and we worked together to decorate it with foliage. I made a garland of soft ruscus and eucalyptus for around the base and then we just added one little sprig for between the top two tiers. The cake was so classic and elegant on its own so it didn't need much - sometimes less is definitely more!
