Hi guys, I'm back after a wonderful week away in Norway with some of my family. We went to Oslo, Telemark, Voss and Bergen. A pretty jam packed week as we did one of these guided tours but it meant we saw so much more of the country than we would have done if we'd organised it ourselves. It as such a beautiful country - I definitely recommend you visit - I now want to go back in the winter and see the Northern Lights, that's right at the top of my bucket list!
We came back to a garden that had gone a bit wild, but almost everything is in flower now. To the point where I'm finally able to sell little bunches from a stall outside the house, which I've been doing for the last few weekends to great success. There's plenty more coming out in flower all the time so I'm hoping to put more bunches out throughout the summer, to take some along to the craft fairs I'm doing and because there is so, so much ammi I plan to use it in a wedding I have next weekend! It includes avalanche roses, garden roses, gypsophila and astilbe so I think the ammi will go really well with them. If you're interested in a bunch of my homegrown flowers and you can get to Tiptree to pick them up please send me a message for address details and time/dates the flowers will be out. I'm generally just putting them out at weekends because my street doesn't have the footfall to sell them more frequently, but I can take orders of £5 or £10 bunches, or even something bigger if you like, with free local delivery. Again just send me a message through the 'contact' page or by email to [email protected]. I've made a couple of larger arrangements to order using the flowers and it's so nice to be able to use locally grown, British flowers with no carbon footprint. In the photos below is a list of the craft fairs you can catch me at this year - hopefully you can come along to at least one! I'm doing the one in Coggeshall in November with my aunt who sells beautiful 3D greetings cards so I'm really excited about that (check out her cards at www.kraftywithakay.com). I'll be selling a wide range of handmade, flower related crafts and gifts as well as some of my homegrown flowers. If you're interested in seeing what I'm selling please follow my craft page on Instagram - @hannahlouiseflowercraft
