Johanna and Martin were married on 13 August 2018 at Houchins. They went for a soft pink and ivory colour scheme, including 'menta' and 'avalanche' roses, spray roses, astilbe, astrantia, gyp, eryngium and scabiosa, with eucalyptus and jasmine trails. Johanna's bouquet is one of my all time favourites. I know I say this after almost every wedding but I am continually amazed at how beautifully the flowers go together! The jasmine trails really add something to the bouquet, and even better - they were homegrown! The two bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bridal bouquet, and all of the bouquets were finished with trailing satin and natural dyed silk ribbons. The buttonholes featured pink spray roses, astilbe and gypsophila, with a double rose buttonhole for the groom. The ladies' corsages featured a pretty 'menta' rose which had a lovely tone to it. I also made a small wrist corsage for the flower girl which was on a length of ribbon so that it could be adjusted according to the size of her wrist. I love the ceremony set up at Houchins - the whole venue is stunning anyway, with the most gorgeous gardens and pretty reception area. I made a long and low for the ceremony table which was later moved over to the top table for the reception, as well as chair ends for the chairs down the aisle. The photographer for this wedding is Laura Jane Photography and from the few sneak peeks she's posted so far the photographs are going to be gorgeous! All the best to this sweet couple for their future together 💕
Love, Hannah x
