Kate and Chris were married on 11 August 2017 at the beautiful Hedingham Castle. They went for a beautiful blue and white colour scheme for their flowers, and used a beautiful combination of roses, spray roses, delphiniums, lisianthus, hydrangea, bouvardia, gypsophila and eucalyptus. I got particularly excited about the wand I made for the flower girl - it was just so darn cute! Ahem...you can tell from the expression on my face in the below photo. I had Alana from Petal and Wild in to help again, as 11 August also saw the wedding of Amber and Tom, so I needed an extra pair of hands to get everything made and set up. The table centrepieces consisted of a carpet of moss, on which sat my gold candlestick with a beautiful arrangement of flowers on top (check out those hydrangea!) with a trio of mini vases around the base and a scattering of different sized candles. We went with artificial candles as requested by the venue, but these ones that you get now that are made of real wax and flicker look just like the real thing (if you don't look too close anyway!) The top table had a stunning long and low arrangement with some trailing foliage at the front, and this was also used on the table in the keep for the ceremony. A little grouping of moss and a trio of candles on each end completed the look on the top table. Kate sent me this photo of the candles all lit in the evening once the darkness set in, and they really complete the look. I'm betting the venue looked wonderful with all the candles on!
