Katie and Scott were married on 22 June 2023 at Houchins. They chose beautiful pinks and whites for their flowers, with lots of lovely foliage. Blooms included roses, spray roses, sweet peas and gypsophila. Katie's bouquet was soft and pretty, kept fairly uniform and rounded in shape. I used the absolutely stunning 'Westminster Abbey' rose which was honestly so gorgeous and I've been waiting for an opportunity to use it! It was a good price and the prefect dusky pink colour so it went straight in my flower basket! Unfortunately when I delivered the bouquet to the bride she didn't like the astrantia I'd used in it, so I removed this while at the venue and the bride was happy after that! This has thankfully never happened before but I hate the idea that a bride could be unhappy with her flowers so I would always rather you told me if there was something you didn't like so I'm glad Katie spoke up! And luckily it was a small flower so easy to remove. I managed to get a couple of photos of the bouquet without the astrantia and it looks just as lovely without it. The bridesmaids carried smaller versions of the bride's bouquet, and we also removed the astrantia from these after the delivery however I didn't manage to get any more photos of these. For the two little flower crowns I made headdresses of spray roses, gyp and foliage - so pretty! Boxed up and ready for delivery! Scott's buttonhole featured two spray roses, a white and a pink, with gyp and foliage and chiffon ribbon to finish. The other men wore similar buttonholes but in all white, with some single versions for the juniors. In their little vases at delivery! The ceremony area at Houchins looked so pretty set up. The couple went for a large, statement arrangement on the ceremony table, which they would later use on their top table, flowers on the chairs and candles down the aisle. The long and low arrangement covered the entire ceremony table which made a lovely statement, with foliage trailing from the flowers on the end of the chairs. The venue also looked so lovely all set up. They used the large ceremony arrangement on the top table, which we lengthened out with additional foliage and flowers, plus candles to add a magical glow in the evening. The guest tables were set out in a banquet style with foliage running down the centre, loose flowers and lots of candles. The beautiful pro photos come courtesy of Chloe Ellis Photography - check them out below. It looks like such a happy day! I hope Katie and Scott had a lovely day!
