Lauren and Gareth were married on 16 June 2018 at Lattenbury Hill Weddings. They went for a fairly neutral colour palette of mostly whites, with a small amount of lilac and pink coming through. Lauren is my step cousin so I was invited to the wedding along with my parents and the boy, it was a good day but boy was it cold on top of the hill! Probably the only time I've felt cold this summer! Haha. The wedding also featured real live alpacas which was a nice surprise, they're very cute animals. Lauren's bouquet was a beautifully scented mix of peonies, roses, mint, tanacetum, achillea, scabiosa, veronica, astrantia, ammi, gypsophila and lavender, with three different varieties of eucalyptus. She had four bridesmaids and three little flower girls, all with bouquets of their own. A series of buttonholes for the men were all arranged in a slightly different combination. The venue flowers were kept quite simple - small jam jars on the banquet style table with extra vases left out for the bridesmaid bouquets to be placed into as extra decor. I also added flowers to a pair of shiny silver wellies, which was originally placed on the ceremony table but the wind at the top of the hill wreaked havoc on them so they were moved to a safe spot inside the tipi! The cake looked incredible with a nod to the bride's love for alpacas. I left flowers for the cake maker to arrange as I had to go and get ready for the wedding! I even got a sneaky photo with the alpaca Thunderbolt! Wishing a happy future to this lovely couple! 💜
Love, Hannah x
