This weekend I attended my first ever wedding fair - at Cressing Barns (near Braintree). I planned a beautiful display of all white flowers with some lovely foliages, and I was really pleased with how it all came out. I got some great comments on it - from brides and fellow suppliers.
I was so pleased with the backdrop I constructed on a clothes rail from Ikea! It featured a garland of foraged foliages including some stunning hops I stumbled across while walking in the countryside one day. I then hung little bottles underneath, which made for a great talking point. Something like this could make an amazing feature at your wedding! I used a combination of roses, spray roses, scabies, dahlias, veronica, bouvardia, astrantia, stocks, ammi, astilbe, eryngium, snowberries and lisianthus to create my arrangements, plus a little gypsophila.
