Ruby and Danny were married on 13 August 2019 at the stunning Aynhoe Park in Oxfordshire. They went for a beautiful mix of burgundy, blush and ivory flowers with lots of gorgeous roses including 'Avalanche', 'Red Naomi' and 'Sweet Dolomiti'. In Ruby's beautiful bouquet I reflexed some of the roses to give them more impact and the white blooms had a sparkly diamanté pin in the centre. The bridesmaids wore wrist corsages rather than carrying bouquets so we went for an extra large design so it would still have impact. We stayed at the venue to move items from the ceremony to the reception and seeing the ceremony take place made me realise that this was a very smart move on Ruby's behalf! Her maids walked down the aisle on the arm of a groomsman, had floor length dresses and had to navigate stairs so keeping their hands free meant there were no slips or falls! The maid of honour had a pink rose corsage, the other maids wore white ones and the junior bridesmaid had a smaller version. The groom's buttonhole complimented the bridal bouquet with a 'Red Naomi' rose, astilbe and eucalyptus. Ruby and Danny decided to mix up the buttonholes/corsages for the rest of the bridal party, using different combinations of red, pink and white roses depending on the wearer's role in the wedding. And all provided with sparkly pins to attach of course! The venue area at Aynhoe Park is just stunning - a beautiful light and airy orangery, filled with antiques and animals. The amazing tree was hired from Vowed and Amazed and we decorated the aisle with candles, vases and rose petals. The foot of the tree also had a scattering of different sized candles and tealights. At the entrance to the ceremony room are a few steps and to one side of these we decorated with bud vases, more candles and petals. All of these items were reused in the reception room afterwards so Ruby and Danny really got the most use out of their flowers. The top table featured a small long and low in the centre with foliage coming out of either end and all along the front of the table, giving the illusion of one large arrangement. We dotted some roses within the foliage, and just look at that amazing rose gold sword fern! The Game of Thrones table name seemed perfectly suited to this cool couple! There were 10 further tables spread out across two rooms. On the central table in each room we used our "high riser" stands with a large, statement arrangement atop each of them. At the base of these we added in some of the candles from the ceremony area, some bud vases and a few petals. I love the zebra at the back! On the other tables were more candles in vases, with a trio of bud vases with a red, pink and white rose - one in each. We then scattered further rose petals (we decided to use fresh ones rather than sweeping them off the floor, a tad more hygienic!) The magnificent cake was displayed in a side room (with a magnificent stag looking after it!) We surrounded the cake with some more tealights and rose petals which made the whole set up look absolutely stunning. And finally a thank you bouquet to finish off!
