Sarah and David were married on 11 August 2018 in Witham. Sarah asked if I could use British/locally grown flowers as much as possible - so that's what I did! The Country Garden Flower Company provided most of the beautiful flowers, including dahlias, cosmos, cleome, aster, ammi, zinnia and dahlias. I sourced foliage from the Irish Green Guys and alstroemeria from Crosslands Flower Nursery. I also used some homegrown flowers and foliages, including grisilinia, nigella and the stunning cafe au lait dahlia for the bridal bouquet. It gave for a really beautiful result! Sarah's bouquet was a stunner - and with the chunky stems of the British flowers it was also pretty heavy! I finished the stems with twine to tie in with the theme and decorated it with a little bow. The bridesmaids held smaller versions of the bridal bouquet with white dahlias rather than the cafe au lait. All ready for delivery! The buttonholes featured a spray rose and some greenery, including alchemilla mollis which is a lovely foliage. The ladies corsages were very similar with the addition of some aster to make them a bit "fancier". All my buttonholes and corsages are now delivered in a little vase of water to keep them fresh for as long as possible during the day. Wishing all the happiness in the world to this couple 💚
Love, Hannah x
