Sarah and Martin were married on 26 May 2018 at a church in Chignal Smealey and then onto the village hall for their reception. They went for a stunning colour combination of deep pink, lilac and peach including roses, lisianthus, waxflower and astilbe, with soft ruscus and asparagus fern foliages to compliment. I know I say this after every wedding but Sarah's bouquet is one of my favourites! The colour combination, the texture, the natural style - together it makes for a super pretty, romantic arrangement which is right up my alley! Sarah had three bridesmaids who had smaller versions of her bouquet, with more emphasis on the lighter toned flowers and just a few of the darker 'Miss Orleans' rose. The groom had a special buttonhole drawing flowers out of the bride's bouquet, with the buttonholes complimenting the bridesmaids with peach spray roses and some foliage. The corsages were also a bit fancier, making for a more feminine arrangement for the ladies. And to finish off the little flower girl had a super cute wand, which she was apparently using to cast magic spells over everyone! Sarah and Martin went all out on the decoration for the church, and it was so much fun to create the outdoor arch and indoor altar screen arrangements. I went for a really natural arrangement - the outside featured a cluster of flowers in the centre of the porch, with soft ruscus and birch garlands trailing out from this, down and around the pillars on either side. The inside arrangement was very similar in style, but with two clusters and garlands going along the top and down the front of the screen. My dad came along on the set up with me as chief ladder holder/passer upper and managed to capture these images of me hard at work! For the tables they went for a rustic set up of a log slice surrounded by raffia, in which I added in individually placed spray roses and waxflower. Those amazing balloons are by Bubblegum Balloons. The stunning professional photos are by Clare Kentish Photography - how gorgeous are these!! I wish this lovely couple all the luck in the world for their future together 💜
